We wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for their support of Kids for Kids over the past two months. Many of our programs held special Kids for Kids events throughout February and March and every one was a true success. Our fun-filled center activities included several Valentine’s Day themed Friendship Balls, a fashion show featuring costumes made by the children, a carnival, children’s art shows using recycled materials, and book and bake sales. As of today, we’ve raised $2475.84 towards our $16,000 goal for 2019.
Some centers are planning more events in the upcoming months as well. At all of our centers, a Square 1 Art FUNraiser is currently underway. By now you should have all received your proof and complimentary stickers of your child’s artwork. All orders must be in by April 9th in order to have the items by Mother’s Day. 33% of the sales with benefit our friends in Kibera.
